We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you sign up for an account or waitlist: • Email address (waitlist signup, account registration) • Name (optional, during account setup) • Voice recordings: processed in real-time to generate ticket specs; not stored longer than required for processing • Screen annotation data: screenshots, markup, and the page URL/title they were captured from, stored per your project in our database • Screen and audio recordings: when you use the extension's recording feature, we capture the current tab's video and your microphone audio, upload it, and use it (plus a transcript and any events you capture during it) to generate a ticket • Interaction trail: during an active recording or annotation session, we log the elements you click and the fields you focus on the pages you visit, to reconstruct accurate reproduction steps. Password fields and fields we detect as sensitive (based on their name/label) are redacted before this trail ever leaves your browser. • Console and network diagnostics: during an active recording we capture browser console messages and the network calls the page makes, including method, URL, status, duration, and the request headers, request body and response body needed to reproduce a failure. Values matching password, token, key, secret, auth, OTP or session patterns are redacted inside your browser before anything is transmitted, and bodies are truncated. Cookies are not captured • Third-party integration data: if you connect GitHub, Notion, or Figma, we store an encrypted access token and the minimum data needed to power that integration (e.g. repo file names, page content, component names) • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps (for product improvement) • Which buttons you click on dhamark.com, and which marketing link you arrived from. The link you arrived from is stored with your account when you sign up. Note this one is first-party and does not depend on the cookie banner, so it is recorded even if you decline analytics cookies. Button-click analytics, by contrast, only run after you Accept.
We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the Dhamark service • Generate structured ticket specifications from your voice and screen annotations • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) via Resend • Send product updates and early-access notifications (you can unsubscribe at any time) • Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive usage
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Voice recordings are transcribed via OpenAI Whisper and are not retained beyond the processing window. Annotation screenshots are stored in Supabase Storage with row-level security, so only you and your invited team members can access your project data.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: • Supabase: database and file storage • OpenAI: voice transcription and command parsing (data processed per OpenAI's API data usage policy) • Anthropic: AI spec generation (data processed per Anthropic's usage policy) • Razorpay: payment processing (for paid plans) • Resend: transactional email delivery • GitHub, Notion, Figma: only if you connect these integrations yourself, to read/write the specific data that integration needs (e.g. creating a page in Notion, reading component names from Figma) Each sub-processor is bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy law.
The Dhamark Chrome extension requests the following permissions, each used only for the purpose below: • activeTab / tabs: to identify and capture the tab you're working in, and switch context when you record across tabs • host permissions (all sites): our annotation overlay and voice-capture tools need to run on whatever page you're actually working on, since that page is unknown in advance • scripting: to inject the annotation overlay and capture tools onto the page • storage: to persist your session state and auth token locally • clipboardWrite: to copy generated AI prompts and ticket links to your clipboard on request • tabCapture: to record your screen when you use the recording feature • cookies: to detect when you sign out of the Dhamark portal, so the extension can clear its cached session • webNavigation: to detect page navigations during an active recording session (including hard reloads, which our page-level tracking can't see) so we can build accurate reproduction steps • sidePanel: to show the extension's UI in Chrome's side panel Microphone and camera access are requested through the browser's own permission prompt (not an extension permission) only when you start recording, and only audio/video you explicitly start a session for is captured. Outside of an active recording or annotation session, the extension does not read page content, browsing history, or activity on other tabs.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Export your data in a portable format • Object to or restrict certain processing To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@dhamark.com.
We use: • Essential cookies: authentication on the app portal (Supabase session) • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics on dhamark.com, only after you Accept on the cookie banner. IP anonymization is enabled. Decline keeps analytics off. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies for ads. You can change your choice anytime by clearing site data for dhamark.com.
Dhamark is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of Dhamark after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
